November’s Letters

It’s that time again…I’m so especially excited to send you this month’s letter! Both the art and the stories came from a first-hand experience I was blessed to have on the water. When the adrenaline is not pumping a little too hard, time under sail is one of the most reflective and humbling kinds. You are out in the middle of nowhere and have lost sight of land, and all you have are your fellow crew aboard, the water, and the sky. The murkiness of the water gives way to teal transparency, you feel the wind across your face, and all at once you are so thankful to be alive.

In this month’s mail, I’ve compiled an artwork I created in memory of this experience and the story that inspired it. So in your envelope, you will find:

  • An art print, of course!

  • The concept art that preceded the painting, in pointillism

  • A letter with the story behind the art

  • A nature challenge very relevant to a sail under the stars

  • And a journaling prompt to go along with it!

I hope you enjoy November’s letter! If you signed up too late to receive this month’s letter, don’t worry! You will receive a letter in December and the previous letters will soon be available in my Patreon store for those of you who would like to catch up.

I’m so thankful for my penpals 🩵 Thank you for being here! News on November’s print coming soon!

-Ruth
