Individually purchased letters cost more than the monthly membership dues for Shell Collector’s Mail.

This is because individual letters cost more to produce, whereas the monthly membership has the benefit of producing many letters in bulk, reducing the cost of production.

The higher price helps cover the additional cost of curating individual letters.
