A Beautiful Chapter Art Print
Although this is not my usual genre, the mission is one near and dear to my heart. This is a piece I worked day and night to complete for Ronin’s closing party on May 24th. If you know my story, you know how much this place has meant to me. I used to work on the Ronin farm, and until that point had never been more inspired to take a chance in pursuit of a dream.
With this artwork, I strove to convey the emotion that comes with the closing of a chapter but not the end of a story - the whole book is still ahead! Using collage techniques, I incorporated articles, press releases, and quotes written about Ronin throughout their time at this restaurant, as well as botanical aspects that speak to their fresh food and awesome community. It has really been an inspiring and extraordinary place! And although the restaurant is closing, there are many wonderful things still to come for Ronin, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store!
